Why Bien’s Wedding Was a Secret
The ‘Kwama’ hitmaker revealed that he decided to keep it a secret from the public because of two things: one was because he never wanted to be gifted ‘Small, Small’ gifts like spoons and utensils, and the second reason was because he agreed with his better half Chiki that they were not going to waste millions on a single day just to please people.
“Sikua nataka watu waniletee gifts, sitaki watu waniletee vijiko, masahani na masufuria hapo manzee sitaki…Alafu pia mimi na dem yangu, sisi wote tuliangalia, what are we spending money on? a better future together, hii one day, 7 hours, tukuje hapa tumwage 5 million ama 5M tufurahishe watu aii zii.” Bien shared.
Bien used a different criteria in choosing those who attended his wedding, saying he was only inviting those who had already visited his place—a number that amounted to 50 people only.

“Me and Chiki have this thing where if I ever meet my celebrity crush somewhere and I am in a situation where my celebrity crush wants to ‘engage in coitus’ with me, then so be it, and vice versa.
I don’t have a problem with it; if that is what she wants, she should get it. You can’t stop a human being from doing that. But also, I can’t catch feelings, I’m after her happiness,” said Bien.
Seeing the motion had caused a stir online, Chiki weighed in on the matter, saying that inasmuch as they entertain open communication, they are very discrete when it comes to matters revolving around their personal lives, which is why they even did a private wedding.
“Open communication? Yes. But I also don’t believe our relationship is available for public involvement or entertainment. Bien and I have always kept a lot of our interactions private, including our wedding.
Allowing the public into your private life is unhealthy after a certain point,” Chiki told a media station back then:
