Addressing this, Betty Kyallo confirmed to have closed down her saloon citing over priced rent that Landlord refuses to reduce.

Obviously running a business in Kenya has become so difficult. Landlords don’t want to reduce rent and it becomes a huge burden on businesses that are struggling because of the economic slow down. Betty wrote.

With the current financial state in the country, Betty Kyallo she then opted to walk out leaving the landlord to auction her salon items, which will then cover the arrears from the salon.

I let it go. She confirmed walking out on the business.

Unbothered

Having tried saving this business, Betty Kyallo went on to add that her efforts were not only costing her peace of mind but also sleep.

However since accepting her fate, the former anchor revealed to be sleeping better and has time to focus on other projects.

I am happier. I sleep better. My peace of mind is more than a name. I’m good. Betty went on.
