Singer Bahati Kioko has opened up about a difficult decision he made nearly 10 years ago when he had to let go of two girls he had adopted along with his son, Morgan.

- Bahati gave up the two girls back to the orphanage
Due to legal challenges and personal circumstances, he found it difficult to continue living with the two girls.
“I felt I was in a difficult situation because I wasn’t legally protected to live with girls. Even though I wanted to stay with them, there was no way I could continue living with those two girls in the same house,” Bahati explained.
The decision to return the girls to the orphanage was a heartbreaking one for Bahati, but he felt it was necessary at the time. He has since supported the girls financially, but they had not reunited until recently.
Bahati’s emotional reunion with the girls was captured on video and shared on social media. The meeting was filled with tears and hugs as Bahati expressed his love and support for the girls.
Bahati celebrates adopted son Morgan
Last month, Bahati took to social media to celebrate Morgan Bahati. He penned a touching tribute to him via a lengthy Instagram post. Bahati also reflected on their journey together, from the day he first met Morgan at an orphanage to the present day.
Bahati expressed his pride in seeing Morgan grow into a young man, recalling the day he took Morgan in as his son. He emphasized the strong bond they share, despite the challenges they have faced.
“I have Looked at this picture and Just realised you’re becoming a Man. This is 10 years ago the first Day I met you. That Day when I invited ABC Children’s Home (Where I grew up at) to Come and Perform at my Album Launch in 2013 at NPC Valley Road. Son I remember that day like it was Yesterday; the way you Cried and Called me Daddy. It was so difficult for me seeing the 2 year’s old you forced to enter the bus heading back to the orphanage; I saw your pain and I saw myself through you,” Bahati recalled.
Fatherly love
Bahati acknowledged the hardships they have endured, including financial struggles and negative comments from online trolls. He apologized for introducing Morgan to the public at a young age, which has led to malicious rumors and speculation about his parentage.
Despite the challenges, Bahati reaffirmed his love and commitment to Morgan, emphasizing that he is his firstborn and an essential part of their family. The touching message highlights the deep bond between Bahati and Morgan and serves as a reminder of the power of love and family.
