Bahati celebrates his son’s birthday explaining why he decided to give him the surname ‘Kioko’

Kenyan artist and reality TV actor Kevin Kioko Bahati has congratulated his son Majesty, who is turning 5 years old today, on August 14th, and took the moment to shower praise on him and explain why he is treasured.

Bahati penned down an emotional, heartfelt message to his son, saying he is kind and will always do everything in his power to ensure that his son doesn’t settle for less and thrives. He also said the reason behind him naming his son ‘Kioko’ is all in regards to honour his late father.

“When you were born, I saw a little me. I named you Kioko as a sign of respect to my late dad. You are a kind person, and I will always do my best to give you and your siblings the best life that I never had growing up. I can’t believe you are now 6 years old… I can’t believe you are growing from a boy to a man. Happy Birthday, King,  @MAJESTYBAHATI.” Bahati’s statement read:

Diana Bahati, the wife of Kevin Bahati and mother of Majesty, also took the opportunity to celebrate her son’s birthday, remembering the first time she held him in her arms and saying he was indeed a blessing.

“Dear Majesty, five years ago, at a time like this, I held you in my arms for the first time. Your little fingers, your smile, your smell, your cry, and still, are a blessing I can never take for  granted.” Part of Diana Marua’s statement read:
