Kenyan actor Kamau commonly known as “Tyler Mbaya” has disclosed the reason as to why he decided to start a family at a young age.
Speaking during an interview with Hiram Maina he said that he chose to start a family at an early age so that he could fill the void that was left by his mum. And he said that he needed that closeness of family and that’s why he did that because he had outgrown out there and wanted to now focus and look within.
“Nikaona my mum mostly alikua ameacha void kubwa sana kwa my heart so nilikua yes na move on na life many other times nilikuwa unhappy rather than happy I really needed like the kind of source of family and the only way to do that was to make my own.”
Adding that it was also in his dreams to have a kid when he was young so that he can grow together with his kid so that he learns the child.
“Juu mi nilikua nataka kugrow na mtoi wangu design yenye I want to be friends with my kid na ndio niweze kua friends with my kid sitaki tukue na age difference kubwa.”
He insisted that he wanted to build a good friendship rapoo with his child, like he used to see the way other young parents used to relate well with their children. Just to avoid that scenario where your child cannot be free around you because he or she fears you.
Settling down for him at such a young age said will help him learn the transition from boyhood to manhood.
“Me, I saw like settling down when I was young, itanibuilt to become a better man.”
He although shared that it’s a decision that comes with a lot of challenges, but he is determined to respect himself and his wife and kids and live an upright life as that’s the secret to winning and avoiding all those challenges.
Asked If he still keeps in touch with other characters that he was acting with at Machachari, he said that he does with a few and some not really because they are all focused on venturing into other things that involve building their empire. But he assured the public that they are together and the fact that they don’t link up shouldn’t mean that anything is wrong. They are all good.
