Kenyan actor Baha Kamau famously known for his stage name ‘Baha’ has disclosed reason on why he will be off social media.
Speaking through his social media page, he said that he will be off the spotlight for a while as per the directions given by his doctor as this will help him work on his mental health.
“Doc feels like I need a short social media break as a form of detox as I start on my journey to recovery. I agree.”
Baha says that he will be taking a social media break of 2 weeks so that it allows him to have a proper start.
“I need to prioritize my mental health. Hence, I’ll take a two-week break to allow me to have a proper start. Will be back soon.”
This comes after Baha had tweeted on his page saying that he isn’t doing okay but promised to be working on it. Back on Friday, during an interview with some of the betting companies, he said that he is privileged to be having good people who are willing to step up and walk him through from his addiction practice of betting so that if he has to do it, he does it responsibly.
“Betting is a disease. Most people don’t look at it that way…Mimi ilinipata, and I am so glad that I have so many guys that are willing to help me out I just wanna say thank you to Junkha foundation and Pakamia because they are going to help me through this.
And hopefully afterwards I can give my story and I can become like a brand ambassador for responsible betting guys… I just wanna say thank you and I hope all goes well.” Baha remarked.
