Kenyan actress Jacky Vike popularly known as Awinja has revealed what her mom went through to raise them up while wishing her a happy birthday.

According to Jacky, her dad died and her mom raised them single handedly, “if I start writing we might spend the whole day here. After my dad died my mom really struggled with us on Kanjo salary that used to come after 4 months or more but we survived. She knew business. These chicken legs you see me eating where do you think I got it from? We used to sell them #meshogi! She also had a kibanda where she would sell vegetables, cigarettes etc.,” terming her as her rock, “Can’t keep Calm it my Mum’s Birthday! My Rock my everything!”

Adding that she wishes to give her mom the best life, “My prayer is to give her the best life, Happy Birthday Mamuu! Mrasta, Mariamu, Mkereee , Bibii May the lord keep protecting you for us, We love you.”
