Labour Cabinet Secretary nominee Alfred Mutua has shared intriguing details on why most children in Machakos county have been named after him.

According to Mutua, it’s the work that he put in that led to most of the newborn children to be named after him.

He came to learn about it after an officer in charge of registration approached him and shared the same.

”I was approached by the officer in charge of registration because a lot of children being born in Machakos are called Alfred Mutua. I said but they are not mine and I was told it’s because most of them are born in ambulances that I put into place,” Alfred Mutua stated.

Mutua further explained that setting up the ambulances proved to be a success.

“The ambulances are still there in Machakos, and they are extremely successful. The health system established in Machakos, including building the first cancer center, is treating people free of charge,” Mutua noted.

Alfred Mutua and Lillian Ng’ang’a break-up

Lillian Ng’ang’a and Mutua broke up over 2 years ago; with Lillian saying that they always had issues in their relationship which they resolved, but it reached a point where the issues could not be resolved because she called out Governor Mutua.

She went on to say that Mutua was a control freak who always wanted things done his way, which she had done for the years they have been together, and when she asked to do things her own way, hell broke loose.

“The second issue was being a control freak. This I guess is because he has been in government and used to controlling people. I have always done things his way.”

Ng’ang’a is currently living with musician Juliani, with whom they even share a kid together.
