Reckitt Country Manager Asif Hashimi remarked that the session provided attendees with the opportunity to hear from health experts on how to nurture their skin and harness the power of moisturization.

We continuously innovate and enhance our products to maintain a top position in the market in terms of quality. Dettol Skincare takes skincare to a completely different level as part of that innovation,” said Mr. Hashimi.

Themed “Nurturing Your Skin: The Power of Moisturization,” the event featured dermatologists, beauty educators, influencers, and enthusiasts.

Dry skin can bring on signs of aging very quickly, such as wrinkles and fine lines, making someone look older than they are.

Well-moisturized skin gives a natural glow, eliminating the need for extensive makeup,” said Fidelia Mwende Nguli, a skincare and beauty expert.

Dr. Tauhida Mbarak, a skin aesthetician, emphasized that a poor diet also contributes to the development of dry skin.

Some people go eight or nine hours a day without drinking water and consume a lot of junk food, neglecting a balanced diet that includes greens and fruits.

He goes on to highlight the adverse effects of failing to hydrate and taking foods that are not rich in nutrients.

Additionally, using poor-quality cosmetics, which often flood the black market with high levels of hydroquinone and mercury, damages melanocytes—the skin cells responsible for color.

This can cause the skin to swell and wrinkle, making a 20-year-old look like they are 56.”

Why you should choose Dettol

In addition to its high level of moisturization, Dettol Skincare soap keeps the skin beautifully hydrated and healthy while protecting it 99.9% from diseases causing germs and bacteria.

“We always advise our clients to use products that are effective for their skin types. As a formulator, I have reviewed the ingredients, and I am impressed by Dettol because it contains glycerin, which is a gold standard moisturizing agent,” added Dr. Mbarak.
