Kenyan digital creator and screenwriter Abel Mutua, whom many refer to as ‘Mkurugenzi‘, has named a list of people behind the successful Kenyan series ‘Untying Kantai‘.

Abel Mutua described the team as ‘The Think Tank’, recalling the name they used to work with way back when they were in Kenya Mass Institution.

“Hii, Project Tulianza 2021… It has been three years in the making, and we thank God for getting us this far. Team Imecreate hii Series Ni Mimi, Philo, Mercy Mutsyia, Kenzi, Small Munyoki, and Dennis Mugo (OJ)“

What even caught the attention of many is him naming his former Tahidi High School fellow actor ‘OJ‘ to all those who watched the Tv Series back then, these two were very creative and could go out of their way to make sure the show is reflecting the real life situations that happen in day to day school and at the same time entertaining as well as informative. Nonetheless, these two working together once again tells the public that more is still coming and it is just a start of greater things to come.

The inspiration behind the making of the series started when Show Max approached them, asking them if they could come up with something that’s thought-provoking, even if it is drama or comedy. That’s when they began crafting.
