Kenyan Detectives from the Anti Narcotics Unit have apprehended a lady that’s believed to be selling Bhang at Ng’ara together with other three suspects.

The detectives told the public that they managed to seize 26 bags of cannabis, 4 cartons of rolling materials, 173 packaged sweets and a carton of suspected weed cookies.

The 54-year-old lady who goes by the name Teresia Wanjiru and other three juveniles that age between 16 and 17 were escorted to custody for further questioning, a proceeding that will take place tomorrow.

The DCI also recovered two gunny bags that had a sum of 13.4 million Ksh in cash that was stashed in her house.

The raid was staged by a team of officers from a transnational organized crime unit who raided a store in the Kariowa slums Ngara area owned by a known drug trafficker.

Police said they had information the suspects were repackaging the narcotics for distribution in the city.

They are currently under police custody and the investigations are still ongoing
