The Creative Technical Committee under the Talanta Hela Council, established by Cabinet secretary Ababu Namwamba, has been petitioned.

Earlier today, Mugane Advocates said that the Creative team that is led by Comedian Churchill is illegitimate and those who were appointed to it were picked with little respect ‘to the idea of meritocracy’.(in the sense that they considered them to be able which they aren’t)

According to the Petition filed in court, the appointments made are a breach against public confidence that the Kenyan people had placed in them. It went on saying that the appointments were made in violation of Article 10 of the constitution that outlines the National values and governing principles, that are accountability, transparency and good governance.

The advocates concluded, saying that whatever was done was wrong and is clearly an abuse of power.

The creative team was selected because they believed the team can use their own platforms to reach out to the public
