Kenyan Female Rapper Wanjiku kimani, whose stage name is Femi one, has taken the award for the best female rapper of the year, An event that took place at Dallas, Texas.

This event took place during the Weekend and some African artists also bagged something home.

Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu were among the African artists that won awards. Diamond taking the award of the best live performance winner, as Zuchu won the best female artist in East Africa.

Femi one Couldn’t hide her joy, she wrote on her Instagram page how she had felt. Thanking everybody who stood with her,

“We Won!!!! Best Female Rapper in Africa. The First Female Artist to take it home. It’s such a big pat on the back for my team and I for all the work we’ve put throughout the years. Truly consistency, Team Work, patiency pays!!
This should be an encouragement for all the up-and-coming Female Rappers! There is a spot for you in the Industry,”

Adding that, The ongoing Artist should keep the pace and energy as they will be recognized some day. She lastly thanked all her fans for sticking with her.
