Amin Mohamed (58 years) studied in the University of Egerton where he received a masters degree in Criminology and Security Management. As well as a certificate from the National Defence College.
He has been involved in solving a number of cases like the one about the Deputy Chief Justice, Amin has a long line of Educational Background as well as the Number of cases he has tackled.
Amin Mohamed has today taken oath in office to as the new Director of Criminal Investigation, having taken over from George Kinoti. The swearing in ceremony that took today at the Supreme Court, in attendance was chief Justice Martha Koome
Speaking during the swearing in Ceremony, he said that he will serve all Kenyans without Biases nor favoring one party to the other one.
He promised to serve all Kenyans free and fair, following the Constitution to the letter. He also said that,
“This is a New Chapter for the DCI and I want to promise the president and the people of Kenya that we shall not let you down,”
He also thanked his family and friends for sticking with her all the way and made the following remarks, “We shall also endeavor to respect your Rights while being firm and fair as we stick to the mandate given by the Government,”
He also urged the Kenyans and Foreigners to obey the Kenyan Laws and promised the public to be working together by ensuring that there is transparency, credibility and fairness to all.
Furthermore, he encouraged collaboration amongst people and the Government, He also outlined that they will tackle the contemporary challenges that are hindering the Country from growing.
He lastly assured Kenyans that He will work to perform his duties Professionally and see to it that the long gap that is growing between the country and other illegal Activities is contained.
