Jalang’o offers advice to men who fail to provide for their women

Member of Parliament in Lang’ata, Phelix Odwiour, popularly known as ‘Jalang’o, has offered a piece of advice to men who cannot afford to meet their partner’s needs.

  • Jalango’s relationship with Wife Amina

Speaking during a Q&A session with our very own journalist, Shiko Gitau, Jalang’o advised all men dating without paying for their women’s bills shouldn’t be doing so because it shows they cannot lead with purpose.

The idea of playing a 50/50 thing in a relationship doesn’t sit right with him, and he feels like men should take the whole responsibility in providing for their women.

“Men must provide; why are you dating a woman when you cannot provide 100%? What are you doing? Why are you letting your woman pay for anything? Even when I was broke, I never let any woman pay for anything.” Jalang’o shared his thoughts.

Jalang’o emphasizes the importance of financial stability in relationships, advising men not to pursue dating if they cannot provide for their partners. He believes that entering a relationship without the means to support a significant other can lead to unnecessary strain and complication.

Jalango’s Relationship with Wife Amina

Jalang’o made his relationship official after holding a private traditional wedding with his bride, Amina Chao, back in the year 2019.

Very little is known about her because Jalang’o has managed to keep the relationship away from the limelight.

The two have been dating for over 5 years now and counting, and Jalang’o has always proven his love for his wife; even though he rarely talks about it, she even gifted her a brand new car after she delivered for him, saying it was a way of appreciating her.

“You know, you must always try and appreciate her to make her feel special. When I say a car, I mean they are around the compound, and I can also use them,” he shared back then.
