Pastor Ng’ang’a bans women from wearing trousers in his church

Published on

Neno Evangelism leader Apostle James Ng’ang’a has once again made headlines with his controversial views. In a recent sermon, Ng’ang’a issued a strict ban on women wearing trousers to his church.

Highlights

  • Ng’ang’a has had several controversial moments
  • He has now warned women wearing trousers not to attend his church

The pastor emphasized the importance of dressing appropriately for a place of worship and expressed his disapproval of women wearing trousers, stating that it is disrespectful to God.

“I said people should not enter here wearing trousers. I don’t know if the ushers have checked this. Don’t ever enter here like that. I’m tired of all these murders and deaths. If you come here, know that you are coming to worship God, not to do other thing,” Ng’ang’a started off

He urged his female congregants to dress modestly and with a spiritual mindset.

“When you leave home, you know you’re going to church. Why? You have to dress properly. And from today, every member of my congregation should dress with a spiritual mindset. You must upgrade your altar,” he said.

Ng’ang’a’s stance has sparked mixed reactions. While some supporters applaud his call for decency, others criticize his strict rules and argue that it is unnecessary to enforce such dress codes.

Pastor Ng’ang’a controversial moments

From comedic banter with his wife during sermons to incorporating exercise routines into church services, Ng’ang’a challenges conventional norms, making him a distinctive presence in the religious sphere.

Below are hilarious things he has done that left many talking.

1. Hitting on his wife during service

During a lively sermon, the pastor turned comedian when he playfully suggested to his wife, seated in the congregation, “Babe si twende America ukanikiss huko” (Dear, let’s go to America, and you can kiss me there).

He humorously distanced himself from high-ranking titles, declaring, “I am not learned, so I am not in the category of bishops and pastors. I am in the category of stupid people,” leaving the audience in stitches.

2. Making his church members to do push-ups

In an undated video, Pastor Ng’ang’a took an unconventional approach to a church service, turning it into an exercise session.

Leading his followers in song and dance, he later directed them to frog jump and do push-ups, blending spirituality with fitness, much to the online audience’s amusement.

3. Slapping a sleeping woman during a church service

In another video that made rounds online, he slapped a woman who had fallen asleep during one of his services.

Calling her out and waking her up proved insufficient, leading to the unexpected slap. He then instructed her to leave the church temporarily, advising her to “go get some air and return later on.”

4. Warning Degree holders

In a stark warning to degree holders, Ng’ang’a advised them to stay away from his church, suggesting they attend places with shorter services.

This proclamation came amid debates on government proposals to regulate churches and pastoral qualifications.

Ng’ang’a, known for his candid statements, accused educated individuals of causing societal issues, including homosexuality.
