Willy Paul might have had a better career if not for his involvement with many women – who often turn against him at some point after getting to know each.

For a while now he has been accused of having inappropriate behavior towards some of these said women – who have gone as far as accusing him of forcing himself on them.

His first case dating 8 years ago started with ex Michelle Dyer who accused him of battering her seriously, then came Miss P who accused him of forcing himself on her and the latest case saw him get arrested after Bahati’s wife Diana B accused him of cyber harassment following some statement he had made about ‘them’ from the past.

Willy Paul highlights the consequences of industry hype

As reported, Willy Paul was to appear before a magistrate to answer for the alleged Cyber crime, however weeks later – we understand the case was recently thrown out of court after the ODPP determined that the evidence against him was obtained illegally.

To prove this Willy Paul shared a letter from the DPP that read;

The DPP reviewed the documentary evidence and the statements of the witnesses on record, along with the complainant’s letter. From the evidence on record, we noted that the suspect’s mobile phone was confiscated and analyzed by the Communication Authority of Kenya as per the Cyber Investigations Report dated December 21, 2021. However, we established that the forensic evidence was obtained without a court order. Article 31 of the Constitution provides for the right to privacy, which can only be limited by a court order. Therefore, the forensic evidence obtained was illegal and inadmissible. Based on the foregoing, we direct that the case be closed to avoid a miscarriage of justice.

Effects of the lies against him

However despite having been cleared by the ODPP, Willy Paul says that the allegations made against him have costed him a lot especially in his career.

“I don’t think corporates should work with liars, people who bring others down to remain on top. All corporates should go through it and see that it was all planned to make me look bad. I have lost terribly because of this misconception,” Willy Paul wrote.

This is because he does not have the privilege to work with corporates like before as they now choose to work with the same ‘liars’ who tainted his image.

In a new post dedicated to corporates, Willy Paul urged them to reconsider working with truthful brands instead of supporting people who bring others down, to remain at the top.

Clearly Willy Paul has his regrets but one thing about him is that he has not given up on himself despite the bad publicity.
