The iPhone 16, set for release on September 20, is the first model designed for generative artificial intelligence, allowing users to create text and images with natural-language prompts. It also features a new camera control button that can identify objects like restaurants or landmarks and provide detailed information. Siri has been enhanced to pull information from users’ messages, such as TV or music recommendations from friends. The iPhone 16 will be available in two sizes (6.1 and 6.7 inches) and new colours like ultramarine and pink, with prices starting at $799.

The higher-end iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, priced at $999 and $1,199, respectively, offer even more AI features, a larger display, and the longest battery life of any iPhone to date. They also support 4K video recording at 120 frames per second, with improved audio recording capabilities that enhance speech clarity in videos.

Apple also launched the AirPods 4, calling them the “most comfortable” yet. Priced at $129, the new AirPods include active noise cancellation and transparency mode. A more advanced model, priced at $179, will feature clinical-grade hearing aid functionality, pending regulatory approval.

The Apple Watch 10, the thinnest Apple Watch ever with a 30% larger screen, introduces a titanium finish and new health features, such as sleep apnoea detection and snorkelling-specific sensors. It offers faster charging and a battery life of up to 18 hours. The watch will be available on September 20, with prices starting at $399.
