Kenyan dancehall artist KRG The Don, famously known for his stage name ‘Buhgaa,’ has finally explained the reason behind him choosing to stay on the low, something that is unlike him considering he is a public figure.
KRG, who said this via his Instagram stories, said that he thought of taking a break from the limelight and concentrating on things that he felt needed his attention at the time, and it is also a way to give the young upcoming artists time to work on their craft and utilize the moment before the legends get back in line.
“Mimi niko is the is the best in the world; I just don’t need highlights at the moment. Juu niko na kazi mob ya kufanya.” Part of KRG’s statement read:

He made it clear that his hiatus should not be taken as a weakness, as it was necessary for him to reset and come back strong adding that his return will shock many.
“Wacheni wasanii wengine pia wa shine kidogo because when I come back they won’t get the spotlight again.” KRG’ statement read:
It is actually a normality that when a public figure who was making headlines stops doing so and avoids the camera even posting on their socials, it only means two things: either they are depressed or they have given up on their craft. KRG has, however, dismissed the norm, saying he is doing great and doesn’t really have the highlights that other artists are getting.
