Actress Jackie Matubia is experiencing a mix of joy and nostalgia as her second daughter, Zendaya, begins her school journey. The proud mother recently shared her emotional experience on social media.

“Zendaya was so excited to start school. There were no tears, and she seemed completely unfazed. She even looked back at us with a wave as we drove away,” Matubia recounted.

While she was happy for her daughter’s new adventure, Matubia also admitted to feeling a pang of sadness.

“It felt like a part of my heart was left behind. I was overwhelmed with emotions. Raising a child alone until this milestone is a significant achievement,” she shared.

Matubia’s comments seemed to allude to her past relationship with Blessing Lung’aho, who she met on the TV show Zora. The couple had a daughter together, Zendaya, but their relationship eventually ended.

Although Matubia has hinted at challenges in her single parenting journey, Lung’aho has remained silent on the matter and has focused on his own career.
