Ice Spice, the 24-year-old rapper known for hits like “Barbie World” and “Deli,” has addressed rumors surrounding her recent weight loss.
After posting pictures on Instagram showing a slimmer waistline, fans began speculating that she might have used Ozempic—a medication prescribed for Type II diabetes but increasingly used off-label for weight loss.
However, Ice Spice firmly set the record straight, explaining that her transformation is a result of a healthy lifestyle, not medication.
Speaking to fans during a chat in X Spaces, Ice Spice expressed her frustration with the rumors. “It’s called the gym, it’s called eating healthy, it’s called being on tour,” she said, emphasizing that her weight loss came from consistent workouts, a nutritious diet, and staying active during her Y2K! World Tour. She added humorously, “I wish y’all never learned the word Ozempic… What even is that?”

Staying active on tour.
Ice Spice highlighted that her busy tour schedule contributed to her physical transformation. “Maybe if I was sitting home all day, it would be easier to stay big,” she quipped, shutting down claims that any medication was involved. She stressed the importance of maintaining good health through regular exercise and mindful eating rather than resorting to shortcuts.
The American is currently headlining her first major tour, which includes stops in cities like Oakland, Dallas, Atlanta, and Miami. Her debut album, released in July, features collaborations with artists such as Gunna, Travis Scott, and Central Cee. The album reached No. 18 on the Billboard 200, but Ice Spice views her music and touring as more than just numbers—she values the deep connection she’s building with her fans.
Amid the gossip about her weight, Ice Spice remains focused on her music career and physical health. She continues to rock stages on her Y2K! tour, demonstrating that dedication, not quick fixes, is behind her success and transformation.
