Kawira Mwangaza speaks after being impeached

Former Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza has collected herself and shared a statement of resilience following her impeachment.

Speaking via her social media, Kawira, the ex-governor, who faced intense scrutiny and political upheaval leading to her removal from office, took to social media to address her followers and the public regarding what just happened.

She shared a message of faith deeply rooted in biblical reference, revealing how the situation she is in clearly reflects what the Bible says.

“Today, the Lord will fight for you and your household; he will give you permanent victory in every area of your life.

A new beginning of victorious living is starting for you, and you shall have great testimonies, every door of blessings, greatness shut at you, shall be open; every missed opportunity shall be restored, and a divine visit from heaven that will change all ugly situations in your life into beautiful ones will manifest today.
Good morning, and have a blessed day.” Hon. Kawira Mwangaza’s statement read.

Why Kawira was Impeached

Senate Speaker Amason Kingi announced the impeachment of Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza on Tuesday, following a successful vote by the Senate. The governor was found guilty of three charges: gross violation of the Constitution, gross misconduct, and abuse of office.
