Boniface Mwangi further fuelled worry with his facebook post;
”There is nothing selfish about suicide. Someone gets to a stage in life, and they decide that this is it for them. They’re ready for the next world. The pain, the troubles and expectations of others in this world is too much. They exit the stage, celebrate their life. End of story,” he wrote.
The incidences have sparked a wider conversation about the impact of social media and the lengths people will go to for attention or to convey a message.
Media personality Carol Radull was among the numerous celebrities who sympathized with him and urged Kenyans to pray for him during this tough period.
