Boniface Mwangi’s disturbing post sparks online outrage as fans remain worried

Published on

Activist Boniface Mwangi has ignited a firestorm of controversy after a video of him being prepared in a morgue surfaced online. The unsettling clip, which has since been deleted, featured Mwangi discussing his mortality.

The video has prompted a wave of reactions on social media, with many expressing shock, concern, and confusion about the activist’s intentions. While some praised his courage and thought-provoking message, others found the content disturbing and inappropriate.

More worries

Boniface Mwangi further fuelled worry with his facebook post;

”There is nothing selfish about suicide. Someone gets to a stage in life, and they decide that this is it for them. They’re ready for the next world. The pain, the troubles and expectations of others in this world is too much. They exit the stage, celebrate their life. End of story,” he wrote.

The incidences have sparked a wider conversation about the impact of social media and the lengths people will go to for attention or to convey a message.

Media personality Carol Radull was among the numerous celebrities who sympathized with him and urged Kenyans to pray for him during this tough period.

As of now, the reasons behind the video’s creation and its intended message remain unclear. Watch Mwangi’s video below;
