Jemimah Thiong’o is a veteran gospel artist who pioneered the music industry, creating a platform for the new age artists who have come years after her.

Back then gospel music for Gen X basically all about prayers, thanks giving and worship – something many now say is missing from the new age musicians creating music just to make money and a name for themselves.

With her music speaking to many, Jemimah Thiong’o embarked in church ministry where she served with her husband Mr Francis Thiong’o for years. However speaking recently, Jemimah Thiongo revealed to have lost the love of her life after months of treatment at the hospital.

According to Uliza Links,, Jemimah Thiong’o revealed that her husband’s demise came about complications that had occurred during a minor surgery he had undergone at the time.

Apparently these complications had seen Mr Thiong’o remain in hospital for the three months until July 21st when he finally rested.

Though the Thiongo’s remain private people, we understand that Jemimah Thiong’o has organized a love concert set to take place on August 4th as a dedication to her late husband.

The event will see the likes of Kambua, Reuben Kigame, Mbuvi, Kubamba crew among other gospel artists who will be performing to help raise money to cover for pending hospital bills.
