A Section of angry Busia residents demand reinstatement of CS Ababu Namwamba

A section of angry Busia residents are ranting, ‘Rudisha Kijana Yetu Ababu Namwamba’ addressing the Kenyan President William Ruto.

Busia residents have voiced their disappointment in the Kenyan President William Ruto regime for failing to reinstate their Cabinet Secretary, Ababu Namwamba, who initially held the role of Sports, Art, and Youth Affairs.

“Tumenyang’anywa Kijana wetu wa nyumbani…tumenyang’anywa hiyo kiti yetu ya sports… Ababu Namwamba tumeona changes… ame launch stadiums zilikua zimekwama. “

Voicing their demands via the press, they told the Kenyan President to reinstate Ababu Namwamba, having seen how he has also reinstated others despite shifting their roles.

Residents marched on the streets with banners that read out their cabinet secretaries names, “Ababu Namwamba,” telling the president that should he fail to reinstate Ababu, his party would no longer be recognized in Busia.

“Hii Kenya, Ababu amefanya kazi kila mtu ameona, kama umeamua kutubetrayal leo kuchukua akina Opiyo, hakuna UDA hapa Busia hatutaki mambo ya william samoei Ruto hapa unless musikie sauti yetu.” One of the residents commented.

To make a statement and show that they were greatly disappointed with President Ruto’s regime, they teared his UDA T-shirt.

Judging from the video, indeed, Ababu Namwamba has been more than just a representative in Busia; he was a symbol of hope and resilience for a community that often felt overlooked by the distant corridors of power.

Whether he will be reinstated or not, we really don’t know, that remains the decision that President William Ruto will have the final say on.
