President William Ruto has explained why he came to the decision of wanting to have ODM members in his new cabinet despite him being the leader of the Kenya Kwanza Government, thus ‘UDA’.
President Ruto, who was addressing a gathering, said that his decision came to show the public and world that, this is a united nation with no divisions or differences separating them, adding that he is focused on uniting the nation, as that is among the duties of the President, and if that means assigning the opposition roles, then he will gladly do it.
President Ruto said.
He further emphasized the need to stick together as a nation, as that is the only way the country will succeed and thrive both economically and politically.
“Hakuna haja ya kuharibu nchi yetu…hakuna haja ya fujo, vita…kulete maafa, Tuungane hatuna nchi ingine, nchi yetu ni moja tujkiharibu hii hatuna mahali tutaenda..tuungane tuichunge tuhakikishe tunapanga maendeleo.” President Ruto said.
