Speaking during an interview with one of our very own journalists, Shiku Gitau, Bensoul said that unhappiness was one of the reasons, the fact that he never found happiness in his career made him drop out of university, something he says he never regrets doing.

As much as he used to do so well in school, he really felt like he never really needed to be there that much because, for one, it was taking most of his time. The time he explained would have been used to concentrate on music since he had a driving desire to do music.

“I was actually a smart student, but the reason I dropped was because I was so unhappy. Despite the fact that I am passing, I used to feel like I was losing a lot of hours that I should be doing music and decided to throw it all away and concentrate on music.” Bensoul shared.

He made up his mind that he wanted to be around anything that involved music and business, putting studies aside.

Even after admitting that it was not an easy process to quit school, he loved his new journey because he loved what he was doing, and having been surrounded by people of the same mind made him feel confident and okay.

He decided to put more effort into music, believing that someday he would benefit from the craft.
