Those using the Standard Gauge Railway passenger train will need to pay 20,000 for a premium-class ticket after they recently unveiled the new look of the railway.
A one-way ticket will cost you 12,000 ksh.
The new coaches include 4 premium, 3 first class, and 11 upgraded Economy coaches, 1 dining car, and 1 power car.
There is also a coach set aside for the elderly and people with disabilities, which is equipped with roomier toilets and assistive equipment.
There is also a change in seats where passengers will no longer be facing each other as they will be facing on the other side.
Other features include charging ports for each passenger, a baby changing area for freshening up babies during the journey, foldout tray tables, and pocket seats for placing small items.
