2 Mbili advices the public to no join tomorrow’s planned demonstrations of occupying JKIA

Published on

Kenyan YouTuber 2 Mbili has advised the public not to take part in tomorrow’s planned protest against occupying Jomo Kenyatta Airport.

Speaking to the press, he shared his views on the ongoing protests in the country, saying that it is high time that the public takes a seat and awaits to see the change that they have declared and asked the president to do.

He advised the public to refrain from mass destruction that involves vandalizing public property in the name of peaceful demonstrations.

He also urged the public not to occupy JKIA, saying that in as much as those are peaceful demonstrations, there are those who will be marching with different agendas, thus wanting to destroy property.

“What is the motive for occupying JKIA? kwa sababu pale, kuna wale watu wanne watano wataenda kuprotest pale, JKIA alafu kuna wale kumi watenda kuharibu vitu na kunawenye watpigwa risasi pale.

Know the objectives first; we have really communicated enough.”
2 mbili said.

He further explained that there are those who don’t understand the meaning of occupying and rather interpret it as meaning to destroy property, which is wrong.

2 Mbili’s message to those generating Flyers

2 Mbili also shared his disappointment with the unknown individuals who have been making the postcards that have been rallying, or rather, telling people to march on the streets to occupy different places in the city, saying that they should be leading by example and not backing off when it comes to demonstrating and showing up.

“Hata wale ambao wanaitana hizi protests hatuwaoni kwenye streets, and it is so wrong if you are one of those people wanatemgeneza the soft copies, the flyers za kuambia watu waende klwa maandamano na hatuwaoni pale. It is so wrong; you should be at the forefront and don’t back away.” 2 Mbili said:
