Mc Gogo and Dj Daffy share the inspiration behind their successful Mcing and Djing Job

Kenya’s youngest MC, who goes by the name MC Gogo, together with his mate, DJ Daffy, have openly revealed the particular thing that motivates them to keep grinding and doing what they are doing to make ends meet.

We caught up with them during the listening party of Bien in a brief interview, where they started by saying that poverty is actually one thing that makes them keep working: ‘Poverty!!! Wewe Ushai Sota? Nikikumbuka vile nilikua nimesota siwezi jaribu’.

Aside from poverty being one of the things that drives them to work, Dj Daffy said he wants to touch lives through Djing, admitting that it has always been his dream to help children and even start a children’s home and help the less privileged.

“Nataka Kutouch lives through DJing and changes families in our country. Mimi hukuanga na dream ya kufungua children’s home hata kama si children’s home. nikue nafanya charity like 3 big charity events each and every single year, aside from fame and money mi hupenda wasee waishi poa.” Dj Daffy revealed.

Dj Daffy further explained that it troubles him to see how others are struggling while he is living large, adding that he believes that the Lord will see to it that they also sprout and make it in life.

MC Gogo, on the other hand, said it is the desire to be great that inspires him and also impacts a generation through what he does.

MC Gogo did also talk about how he manages to give hope to those who follow and listen to him closely, saying he uses his platform to encourage those losing it. “I am using my avenue nireach out nayo wasee… because it will make people give life another chance because of what he has told his audience.”

Message to the Government

They lastly urged the government to provide enough job opportunities by investing in other sectors since the entertainment industry is a wide niche that can be broadened and invested in to help the unemployed get job opportunities that will enable them to earn a decent living, adding that they should be considerate of everyone and not just settle for and favor their own people alone.
