A win is a win! Kenyan man narrates how he met his better half during the 2024 Anti finance Bill Protests

A Kenyan man by the name of Tony has narrated how he met a lady who is now a potential wife, and the two look to be married soon after revealing wedding plans.

Speaking during an interview with Nicholas Kioko, Gloria Kendi, who’s the fortunate lady, disclosed that she is currently a hotelier but has plans to pursue her dream career, which is film. Tony, on the other hand whose a professional chef, said that he did propose to the lady from the very first time he struck eyes on her during the demonstrations in the streets of CBD because he knew he was the one.

Gloria clarified, saying the diversion was to get to know each other.

“Tulienda kujuana juu story haziwezi isha; he is a very talkative guy, and he makes me laugh all the time, and I was like, Twende tukunywe hata chai tujuane.” Kendi shared.

Why Kendi chose Tony

Gloria, who was excited, admitted that she gave in to Tony’s proposal, saying, ‘Why not? There’s no time to waste here’.

She praised Tony, saying he is an exceptional individual since he is a very funny guy who will always keep you entertained.

“He is very funny, treats me well, respects me, and is very disciplined. He would just create stories out of nowhere and make me laugh, me hupenda kucheka. Since it was very interesting that I laughed that day, and since I was having a tough day, I was like, Twende tukunywe chai.” Kendi said.

The two have known each other for almost a month now, and they have wedding plans in place, although they are still getting to know each other since they haven’t moved into each other’s house.

Tony added that it was the peaceful demonstrations that favored him to win a lady who was soon going to be his wife.

Speaking on why he decided to choose Kendi, he said that he saw everything she wants in a woman in her and thought of making a move before it was too late.
