A recent survey by Politrack Africa has shown that majority of Kenyans want the cabinet secretaries that were sacked by the president to be re-appointed in their respective ministries.
This comes just a few days after the president made the decision to sack them all, leaving only Musalia Mudavadi to run all the ministries.
“That pursuant to Article 152 (5) (a) of the Constitution, Hon. Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi, E.G.H., is assigned as the Acting Cabinet Secretary in all vacant ministerial portfolios,” a gazette notice read.

Innocuous support
The move by the president was expedited by the demonstrations that were meant to reject the finance bil.
The president was requested to fire the cabinet secretaries in order to make room for financial improvement of the country; bearing in mind that they were receiving hefty salaries.
However, a section of Kenyans believe that some of the cabinet secretaries were crucial in their ministries and that they deserve a second chance.
In the survey, former interior CS Kithure Kindiki came as the top favorite of Kenyans in the survery with a total of 72.7%. Aden Duale, Chirchir, Kipchumba Murkomen then followed respectively.
The survey indicates that even though the CS’s lost their jobs, some of them are definitely recommendable for their jobs. Do you think they deserve a second chance?
