Mwafreeka and Oga Obinna share their personal experience after witnessing the mothers of their children give birth

Mwafreeka, the lead interviewer of the ‘Iko nini’ podcast, had a chat with comedian Oga Obinna and confessed to having witnessed their women give birth.

The duo that was having a chat in the podcast openly shared their personal experience, starting with Mwafreeka, who said that it was something that he actually regrets and never thought it could do some serious psychological damage in his head because, after seeing the whole birth process, he was finding it hard to get intimate with his woman because he couldn’t really practically convince himself that she was the person who gave birth to a child.

“Mimi niliingianga theater… Wangu alitokea ile area, it took me time before I got confidence ya kurudi hapo, ushaiona kichwa imestrech hiyo area, and I was like nimekua nikidanganywa…damn!! …Mimi hukuanga, honest, it took me 6 months to go back. Juu ukiona!!!!” Mwafreeka revealed.

On the other hand, Obinna, who also confessed that he was present, seeing how his woman was giving birth, said that after witnessing the whole thing, it really became hard for him to go back to getting intimate with her because of how traumatizing and shocking it is to watch. “After that, I was like, Weeeeuh, inakuanga a bit. Inakuanga tricky kurudi.” Obinna disclosed.

For starters, there are two usual ways of delivering babies: vaginal delivery and a cesarean section.

A vaginal delivery is when a person gives birth through their vagina. It’s the most common method of childbirth. During a vaginal birth, your uterus contracts to thin and open your cervix, pushing your baby out through your vagina (or birth canal).

Caesarean section, also known as C-section or delivery, is the surgical procedure by which one or more babies are delivered through an incision in the mother’s abdomen. It is often performed because vaginal delivery would put the mother or child at risk.
