Challenges of having Sickle cell disease

For Starters, Sickle Cell disease is an inherited blood disorder. It is usually marked by flawed hemoglobin. That’s the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen to the tissues of the body interfering with the delivery of oxygen to the tissues.

Sickle Cell disease is not a light health condition according to Akuku Danger because it is more usually unpredictable you can never really know when it is attacking you you can treat it one minute and the next you’re sick ailing and in the hospital door again, It is also a challenge when it comes to getting intimate with your partner and at times it is painful for the man who must gets his desires under control by visiting the hospital because they get unexpected arousals.

Another important thing to note about the disease is that all those who are suffering from the condition are subjected to be taking a daily dosage until their last breath, that’s another disadvantage like you are always on medication and cannot afford to miss.

In a light manner, Akuku Danger recounted how he used to struggle with taking his medication back on campus.

I came up with a strategy. Kama ni painkiller, you make sure haiko kwa karatasi yenye ukipick tuh hivi unameza.

Juu honestly, hata wewe ukiona dame anaenda kumeza dawa hiyo mechi si inaishia hapo.?
” Akuku Danger said.

Even so, Akuku Danger vowed that at no point will he ever find himself spreading the disease, which is why he is very careful and doesn’t want to have any kids as of now having seen how his parents struggled raising him.

The Remedy for Sickle Cell condition

All in all, Akuku Danger said that there’s a solution to the sickle cell condition, which is a bone marrow transplant.

Sickle cells have a solution, which is a bone marrow transplant. You can get a bone marrow transplant from a donor who will donate your stem cells, and then you will get better.

But not all warriors require bone marrow transplants because of their degrees. Sickle cell has got degrees from mild na ile level ingine, so wale wako pale sana sana ndio hu need bone marrow transplant. With mild or something, you can always manage it with drugs; you can’t treat it, but you can manage it.”
Akuku Danger explained.
