Media personality and Brand Influencer Azziad Nasenya has refuted claims suggesting that she was part of the team which escorted Cabinet Secretary in charge of sports and Youth affairs Ababu Namwamba to Paris.
Azziad released a statement saying she was not part of those who had accompanied CS Ababu Namwamba and ever since the team was disbanded back in the year 2024 she has not involved herself in anything regarding the team.
“I am not part of the Kenya delegation to the Paris Olympics 2024. It is unfortunate that someone would come up with false allegations on such a matter. My Involvement with the ministry of Youth Affairs,Creative Economy and sports centred around the creatives Technical Committee of the Talanta Hela Council, headed by Daniel Ndambuki AKA Churchill,I was selected and mandated. to represent the younger population in the creatives Technical Committee.” Part of Azziad’s statement read:
She also clarified that all her trips that she has been leaving for are all self sponsored and have not been funded by the Government.

The above statement comes after lawyer Miguna Miguna posted on his twitter page tagging CS Ababu Namwamba calling him out for carrying with him in what Miguna Miguna described as ‘Socialite bimbos’ to the olympics in Paris at the expense of the Government and people’s taxes.
