Former Governor Aspirant Cassypool Capon has explained why he will not be taking his salary should he be appointed governor.
CassyPool, who will be in the ballot box come 2027, said that he will give his salary to people because he wants to set an example as one of the best who ever led the people without taking in money, and his work will be to serve the people who elected him, as he only cares little about the salary.
“Nikikua Governor salary yangu iende kwa wananchi wasaidike na hiyo salary yangu naisema kwa macho yangu….mshahara iende kwa wananchi…of course napewa allowance hizi zingine ndogo ndogo hizi za gari za nyumba…mimi niko huko kuwafanyia kazi.
Wanataka hii pesa yote ya kazi gani.,,,,mimi ni niwafanyie kazi miaka tano niende nyumbani.” Cassypool said.
Cassypool gives Charlene Ruto her flowers
Cassypool also congratulated Charlene Ruto for getting out of her comfort zone and listening to Gen Z’s issues.
“Nataka kumpongeza mdogo wamgu mtoto wa kwanza kwa rais ambaye ana nidhamu, anajituma ametoka kwenye comfort zone yake kwa sababu ameamua aje askize issues zenye zinakabidhi Gen Z’s wenzake.” Cassypool said.
He however defended the first daughter Charlene Ruto from online critics saying they should thank heavens that for once the country has the child of the Kenyan President who is willingly ready to work with young people and the public to see change in the country despite her being well in her position.
“Mimi namshukuru sana mtoto wa rais ambaye haendi kuchukua risasi kupiga nazo ndege…tuko na mtoto wa rais ambaye hakunywi madawa, ambaye anahishi kanisani anaomba mungu… Charlene Ruto amekua kipao cha mbele kama miaka mbili hivi sasa.Tuko na mtoto wa rais ambaye amefanya vitu zenye hazijawahi kufanywa historia ya Kenya na watoto wa rais. Weka heshima.” Cassypool said.
