As the pressure creases so is the nation changing in ways many never thought would happen. I mean, whoever thought someone as powerful as the president would repost a video of a mere artist from Kibera?
Well, the president of the Republic of Kenya recently shared a video of Stivo Simple boy on his Instagram account – something quite unique from what is often shared on the presidents social media pages.
‘REMOVING ME FROM POWER WON’T SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS’ – PRESIDENT RUTO
On the video Stivo describes himself as the president of wanyonge (the weak, poor) and goes on to ask for a sit down with the president hoping they would both achieve something to benefit common mwanainchi.
This comes at a time when Millennials and Gen Z refuse to be governed by the same greedy politicians who have been taking advantage of their parents for years now.
For once, a revolution was witnessed in Kenya by all continents who watched the Gen Z match to parliament and gain access despite being shot at with teargas canisters and live bullets – determined to ‘greet’ the so called politicians who voted yes for the finance bill 2024.
Ruto adjusting
At first many assumed this was just another stunt from the youths – until things got serious, forcing even the president himself to reject the bill….as history wrote itself afresh.
With that he has since been trying to blend in with the youths hence anticipated X debate between him and Gen Z on Thursday or Friday.
However we understand before this, Mr Ruto’s team continues to soften the hearts of Gen Z hence sharing Stivo’s video on his page among other things.
