“Learn from your colleague who lost both hands” Obinna’s advises Police against using force during protests

Published on

Oga Obinna may not have hit the streets to protest like fellow celebrities however, he has issued his stand on the Finance Bill 2024, which he strongly rejects.

Addressing matters regarding the Finance Bill 2024, Obinna explained it was time those in govt understood the power Gen Z carries hence warning them on possibility of being losing their positions in power.

He also addressed the police who he says have been facing a hard time figuring out what they should do to Gen Z who they’ve been asked to ensure they are not protesting on the streets.

According to Obinna these officers have been left confused since most are from the millennium era whereby protests were handled with teargas, rubber bullets; and serious beatings and in return the police would get stoned by bricks thrown their way during protests.

However with Gen Z, all they want to do is chant and dance during protests – which makes it hard to handle with teargas or forceful measures which would be unfair and inhumane.

Gen Z for the Police

Having witnessed this, Obinna urged the men in uniform not to avoid being used by those in power to inflict force on these kids; keeping in mind them rejecting the Bill will also benefit the police who are ranked among those paid peanuts – yet they risk their lives.

He went on to use the example of the officer who lost both hands while handling a teargas canister, leaving him paralyzed and most probably jobless now that he can’t go back to handling his post like he used to.

Having heard of how veterans are handled by the govt, Obinna reminded the police not to fall for PR Stunts from MPs who only rush to take photos with a victim of something…in this case the guy who lost his hands just to a prove a point online.

He also urged Gen Z not to provoke chaos in the name of rejecting the Bill.
