Kisii artist Embarambamba pays tribute to the late Fred Omondi by releasing a track in his honor

Published on

Kenyan Kisii gospel artist Chris Embarambamba has recorded a song in honor of the late comedian Fred Omondi, who was Eric Omondi’s younger brother.

Chris Embarambamba mourns the late Fred Omondi in the song entitled ‘Fred Omondi Song‘ by recalling the moments they had together and how he welcomed and acknowledged him, reminding him of the love that Eric Omondi had for him.

Chris, in his next line, goes on asking endless questions as to why the Luo’s have to die—something that troubles him a lot. Inasmuch as he tries to understand, his mind doesn’t let him settle on it.

Nini mbaya na wajaluo??? Ni nini mbaya. Kwa nini Fred Omondi anakufa. Ni Nini Mbaya na wasanii???” Embarambamba is heard saying it in his track.

He also raises an important question in the track questioning Fred Omondi’s death that he says doesn’t add up because there are many reasons that the public is sharing that led to his death.

Kwa Nini Fred Omondi amekufa? Tufanyie uchunguzi…mara mnasema alikua anaendesha pikipiki, mara mnasema alikua anapewa lift, mara mnasema alikua anaendeza gari peka yake.” He goes on singing.

He also acknowledges the late Fred Omondi for helping him back in his day when he needed his help, promising him that at some point in his life he would perform with his brother Eric Omondi.

He concludes the song by urging Kenyan artists to take their time and think twice.
