Netizens react to CS Alfred Mutua’s statement claiming that no protestor was injured

Published on

Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua appears to be getting on the nerves of Kenyans, who are now tired of him.

Netizens have reacted to his comments differently by bringing up his past and calling him out as weak, for saying that no protestor has been injured, reminding him that he is clearly wrong and not on the know because there’s actually a protestor who died yesterday while protesting, and he passed on because he was shot by a policeman—the very people he is defending.

The investigations are still ongoing to find the root of the reason why the police officer shot the young man.

At First Alfred had blamed the protestors for making a police officer loose his fore arms saying that his bloods were on them. “Huyu askari amepoteza hizo mikono; his blood is on you, those who were protesting,” Alfred Mutua said.

Another video circulating online shows how Alfred Mutua is defending the policemen, saying that he has not heard that there’s a protestor who has been injured, unlike policemen who are nursing wounds in hospitals.

Out of the protests that have happened over this issue, two police officers are in the hospital; not a single protestor was injured.” Alfred remarked.

Why Alfred Mutua Doesn’t support demonstrations

He goes on to say that the activists are demonstrating for a lie and are gladly doing so because they are broke and looking for an easy way out.

These activists, protestors… I see them in clubs; they are broke. Wamesota, you are demonstrating a lie. Ungekaa chini uangalie hiyo Finance Bill Unaambiwa, you demonstrate about… ungerealize that you are demonstrating for a lie.” Alfred said.
