Kenyans protesting have been complaining of harassment from police officers despite ongoing peaceful demonstrations against Finance Bill 2024.
Having been warned by the govt itself against taking forceful measures on protestors, a man in uniform was unfortunately caught red handed by NTV journalist Karanja Ibra beating a protester….something he was forced to react to.
As seen on a video shared by Uliza Links, the journalist followed by his cameraman confronted the GSU officer questioning why he was violent to the protestor; however judging from his reaction – it did not seem like he was apologetic for the harassment.
Kenyans unite
Seeing that he was still angry, the officer then turned to Karanja Ibrah threatening to do the same with him.
However upon seeing the camera and other Kenyans behind the journalist – the officer then cooled down, disappearing into a crowd of other officers.
The bold move from the journalist has proven that indeed Kenyans stand together to oppose the Finance Bill 2024 following high cost of living which has been draining meaning – now drowning in debt.
