Comedian Eric Omondi is in mourning after the untimely death of his blood brother Fred Omondi. According to reports, Fred died in a motorbike accident after it collided head on with a bus.
Fred Omondi tragically passed away on June 15 following a fatal accident along Bypass Road in Nairobi.
Fred’s friends and family will hold a memorial service on Friday, June 21, at Citam Valley Road.
Following the service, his body will be airlifted to Bondo for the burial.
He was a father of one daughter and was peacefully co-parenting with her mother.

There has been a lot of controversies surrounfing Fred Omondi’s death. Some claim it has to do with politics after Eric Omondi decided to passionately fight against the passing of the financial bill, others claim it was just an accident.
Either way, Eric Omondi has now narrated in an interview with Mboya Vincent how he came to learn about his brother’s death.
According to Eric, the police were not honest with him while giving him information about Fred’s death.

Eric Omondi is currently doing arrangements of his brother’s burial and memorial service. Fred has been mourned by numerous celebrities, including Tumbili, Bahati, YY Comedian, Eddie Butita, Churchill, among other jesters. May he rest in peace.
