Kenyan actress Mama Kayai has opened up about why she loved working with the late Mzee Ojwang.
Mama Kayai, who was speaking to one of our journalists, said that she loved working with the late Mzee Ojwang’ at the Vitimbi show because he was a respectful man.
Mama Kayai fondly recalled other memorable moments from her acting career with the late Mzee Ojwang”s sharing experiences, illuminating the bond they formed both on and off the set.
“Tukiwa na Mzee Ojwang’…. Nilikua napenda kufanya kazi na yeye kwa sababu ya kuheshimiana.” Mama Kayai shared.
The two first met during the auditions, and ever since then they have been gracing our screens up until when Mzee Ojwang passed away.

Cause of Mzee Ojwang’s death
Mzee Ojwang’ passed away back then in the year 2015 on a Sunday evening while undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
According to reports, Mzee Ojwang succumbed to pneumonia while undergoing treatment at Kenya’s leading public referral hospital.
