Hundreds gathered at Lang’ata Cemetery on Thursday, June 13th, to mourn the loss of Purity Wambui, wife of the celebrated actor Alphonse Makokha. The atmosphere was heavy with grief as friends, family, and fellow actors came together to honor a cherished soul.

Deep Sorrow and Touching Tributes

The pain of losing Purity was evident. A YouTube video captured Makokha’s struggle to contain his tears, a reflection of the immense loss he felt. His young daughter’s sobs beside him underscored the family’s profound grief.
