Diamond Platnumnz reveals reason why he still remains on top of his Game

Tanzanian artist and WCB boss Diamond Platnumnz has shared the reason why he still remains on top of his game.

Speaking to the press, the WCB boss opened up, saying that he has a number of other businesses he is doing on the side and doesn’t entirely depend on music alone to thrive.

He also shared the reason why he has never thought of dropping the mic despite having made it as an artist, and with many business investments that are bringing in more money than his music career, saying he is only doing it out of passion, and were it not so, then he would not have even started singing in the first place.

“Tafsiri ya kukua ni kuongeza majukumu na fedha si kuacha jambo moja na kufanya lingine ndio maana ningekua nimewacha kufanya muziki maanake biashara nazo zifanya zinaniletea fedha mingi kuliko muziki nao kua nao.

Sasa hautakiwi kuacha maanake ni kwamba umeanza mziki unatengeneza riziki nyingine na nyingine.” Diamond explained.

Some of Diamond Platnumnz’s Business

1. WCB Record

Diamond Platnumnz has quite a number of businesses that are adding to his income, starting with his very own WCB record, Wasafi Classic Baby, which is a Tanzania-based record label founded by him. He boasts over seven million subscribers on YouTube.

He registered the company on February 2, 2016. Under the label, his first four artists were Harmonize, Queen Darleen, Rayvanny, and Rich Mavoko.

2. Wasafi Airline

The ‘Inama’ hitmaker recently launched his airline, dubbed Wasafi Air, as he expanded his business empire, saying he bought a helicopter that can fly at night because most of them fly only during the day, marking that it will be the first in east Africa.

He also has Wasafi Media, which covers both local and international news and has over 5 million followers.

3. Wasafi Bet

There’s also Wasafi Bet, which he launched back in December 2021 in a major money move targeting thousands of football fans in Tanzania. Admitting that it was a move he made because he saw potential in it.
