Controversial MP Peter Salasya and comedian Eric Omondi have ignited a beef shortly after the jester went to parliament to stage a demonstration.
Eric Omondi, with ‘mama mboga’ in tow, went to the parliament gate to spill vegatables to demonstrate against the Financial Bill.
Well, the demos lasted only for a few minutes as Eric Omondi was arrested by the nearby police. Not being the first time to get arrested for demonstrating, the jester seemed unbothered by the arrest.
Salasya throws shade at Eric
Salasya went on to call out Eric for his antics through his social media.
@ericomondi inquire before you act …what you have done at the parliament was wrong for calling members of parliament wasaliti was wrong ….toa vipindi kwa siasa hizi vipindi tunazijua …ikifika kwa vipindi za siasa uliza. Peter Salasya wrote.
Eric claps back
Upon seeing what Salasya said, Eric went on to refer Salasya as the number one traitor for not supporting his demonstration. He divulged in a recent interview with SPM Buzz that Salasya has been bought by the government and that he’s siding with them now after enjoying the luxuries of the government.
”He’s enjoying the luxuries of the government. Yeye ndio msaliti number 1. He’s been bought. He’s in bed with the government.
Eric added that Salasya has been taking photos with the deputy president and the president; something which is peculiar according to him.
The two are yet to settle their predicaments. Eric promised to continue fighting against the bill, citing that Kenyans will suffer upon passing of the bill.
