2Mbili explains what ended his friendship with Obinna

Published on

For almost a year now, comedian 2 Mbili and his fellow jester Oga Obinna have not been in talking terms.

While it is rumoured that women might have been involved in their fall-out, Tumbili has refuted the claims.

While sharing with SPM Buzz in a recent interview, he shared that there’s no bad blood between them.

In the same interview, 2Mbili calibrated that he was not being housed by Obinna because of being broke and unable. However, he claims that it was by his own liking that he decided to stay at Obinna’s place.

2Mbili speaks

Even though he was reluctant to speak about their beef, he gave some points on their friendship.

”I don’t want to talk about it. We disagreed. But we’re friends. That’s what I know. If you ask Obinna, I was sleeping at his place kwa hiari yangu (just because I wanted to). It’s because I had fatigue, I couldn’t drive to my place. Si ati nishaifungiwa nyumba nikakosa place ya kuenda nikaenda kulala kwa Obinna,” he started off.

To be clear, I have never been ungrateful to Obinna. There are some little things he did to me, and there are also some little things I did to him. Our disagreement is far from what people are seeing. Na watu waache kusema ni wanawake walifanya.

2Mbili maintained that it was purely business that led to them going separate ways. Obinna was among the few people who came through to help 2Mbili after his wife turned out to be violent against him.

For this, most fans have termed 2Mbili as ungrateful, but he believes otherwise. Watch his full interview below;
