Kenyan uprising artist Stoopid Boy has finally responded to Dr. Ofweneke after canceling their already scheduled interview that was set to take place on TV 47.
Speaking through a video he shared online, Stoopid Boy said that he cannot afford to be famous and broke at the same time, which is why he has to set standards for anyone who wants to do an interview with him.
“Hakuna vile nitakua famous na nikue broke hiyo haiwezi. Hiyo imeruka…… wasanii wengi wametrend lakini kwa streets wanatusiwa ndio maana nilikuambia lazima ujue vile naishi ndio uniite kwa hizo ujinga yako.” Stoopid Boy said, addressing Dr. Ofweneke and the public.
According to the ‘Jbag na Jug‘ hitmaker, he knows his worth and he will not settle for less, which includes doing interviews for free without getting anything in return. He goes on to say that even the 10 over 10 show that is on Citizen airing normally on Friday didn’t pay him, and he has had enough of people taking advantage of him, and it is high time that now he stands for what he rightfully feels he deserves.
“Mlitupanga sana…tunaenda ma interview bila dooh… hata hiyo 10 over 10 nikienda silipwi…” Stoopid shared.
He goes on to say that he deserves a sitting allowance because he worked hard to be where he is. “Interview bila dooh haiwezi…..hiyo inaruka!!!!!”
