Kenyan socialite Amber Ray has explained why she decided to relocate to Syokimau from a posh apartment she was in.
Speaking to the press, she clarified that the reason was mainly because of three things: the fact that Syokimau is peaceful, it is close to where her parents live, and she was tired of paying rent.
“Syokimau…. For me, it gives me peace; it is in the machakos iko karibu na mum na imefika stage. I feel like it is high time I stop paying rent.” Amber Ray shared the reason why.
The socialite who bought the Syokimau apartment advised all those interested in owning their own homes someday to take it easy and keep grinding, as someday they will also stabilize.
“It’s not an easy job, but do what you can and rely on God’s time. You’ll have your share.” Amber Ray said.

Why Her Dream House Remains to be in Machakos
Inasmuch as she relocated to Syokimau, she reinstated that she doesn’t necessarily value it and instead looks forward to moving to Machakos because it has great views.
“Syokimau is not my dream house… Instead Machakos is, because it is on top of the hill, and I would like to own a big castle. That’s the only place at which you can get a good view.” Amber Ray shared.
She decided to move out of Nairobi because she felt she had explored it all and had reached a point in life where she wanted more space for her family and to settle in an area that didn’t have a lot of noise distractions and was peaceful.
