Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto has shared the biggest challenge the country is facing.
Speaking while addressing a gathering, the Kenya Kwanza leader said that the reason why the country is lagging behind is because of some incompetent leaders who want to trend out of irrelevant reasons.
“If you are supporting doctor’s strike, pay them” President Ruto to Government officials
“The challenge we have, and that’s why we haven’t made as much progress as we should, which is why we haven’t achieved our potential as a country, is that those who have been chosen as leaders want to do convenient things; they want to do popular things.” President Ruto shared.
He goes on urging leaders who want to trend on nonsensical matters and be popular to not be leaders and be something else, which is being a comedian.
“If you want to continuously be popular, don’t be a leader; be a comedian.” Ruto said.
